i'm a huge fan of joe's and i've been waiting for last clock on the wall since take my blanket and go came out, but i hope the fan enthusiasm doesn't turn into rudeness. joe obviously cares about his music very much and understandably wants it to be finished before he gives it to his fans, who he also cares about very much. it probably makes him feel good to hear how badly we want to hear, but he'll give it to us when he's ready, so let's all try not to be rude or make it seem like we're rushing him.
that being said, i hope it comes out tomorrow:D |

Hi Everyone,
It's tough when I'm sitting here with all of the answers to when the new album will be ready and the list of songs that are going to be on it. I can't say much but I will say you will get it asap. Joe is traveling as you may know but is very anxious to get home and finish mixing the album. Not to mention he has 2 more albums to record. As always you guys will be the first to hear
Last Clock" the day (or night) it's finished. We post every album immediately for everyone to hear.
Hang tight and you'll be as excited as we are once you hear it.

As I was watching the return of Lost these past two weeks, I got to thinking about how the producers didn't really have an endgame when they started. They were sort of writing on the fly. They said that characters were not dead, they weren't in Hell, that it wasn't a dream....that there would be real scientific answers for the craziness going on.
...and that there would not be time travel. If you watch, you know that there has been all sorts of time travel going on.
So, the question is, are there really answers, or is the myth of answers there so we stop asking questions?
Maybe I just need to go to bed... _________________ "when you stop dreamin', it's time to die." - Blind Melon |

| to be a pedant for a second, the producers said the characters wouldn't time travel. And, with the exception of Desmond, they are correct. It's the ISLAND that's travelling. |
"Lindelof said that a DVD set of the first season will come out this summer, before a second season begins in the fall. As the show progresses, he added, it won't venture too far into science fiction as its mysteries unfold. "We're still trying to be ... firmly ensconced in the world of science fact," he said in an interview. "I don't think we've shown anything on the show yet ... that has no rational explanation in the real world that we all function within. We certainly hint at psychic phenomena, happenstance and ... things being in a place where they probably shouldn't be. But nothing is flat-out impossible. There are no spaceships. There isn't any time travel." "
Even if what you said was true, the characters ARE time traveling, whether it be because of the skipping record or not. Locke was in the 1950s before he was born. That reads as him time travelling to me.
Granted, he does not say that there will not be, just that there isn't as of the quote, which spawned my whole "myth of answers" diatribe. _________________ "when you stop dreamin', it's time to die." - Blind Melon |

Well, the connection I was speaking of was just that it reminded me of the quote, and whether there were answers as to when the album was coming out. That's why it's in this thread, much to weiner's dismay. (sorry, dude)
If you are looking for something more explicit. In the first season of Lost, episode 3, Joe had his first tv spot. Prior to Grey's, prior to House, prior to Peaceful Warrior, prior to Kia, and prior to the Secret Life of Bees.
